I am honored to announce that I have been invited to participate in the most amazing adventure yet!  HerHighway has invited me to be in the “2012 Drive Breast Cancer Awareness” Event.  Not only am I besides myself for the mere invitation, but because I will be part of something so great, something that will help not only bring awareness too, but also help raise funds to KICK CANCER’s BUTT!!!!

What is HerHighway you ask?  This is a small snippet of what the site is about:

HerHighway’s bumper-to-bumper automotive reviews, tips and feature articles created expressly for women…by women. That’s what makes us such a refreshing detour in a male-dominated world. After all, would you trust a man to understand what’s intimately important to you when it comes to your personal preferences and buying decisions? That would be an emphatic “no.”

and it’s fabulous already right?  Check it out, you will love it!

Last year’s drive was the first annual “Drive Breast Cancer Awareness” drive, and it was from Los Angeles, Ca. to Malibu, Ca. and back. 
The reason it came to be was for all of the Women who could not participate in one way or another in the many walks for Breast Cancer Awareness month.  As Christina herself (creator of HerHighway had just gone through her own surgery for breast cancer) could not participate in the walks, she made it possible for her and many other Men and Women, to take part by supporting, participating, and helping to get the word out. 

This year, The drive reaches a different level, bigger in many ways.  The drive will be from Los Angeles, Ca. to NYC, New York! There will be many “pit stops” along the way, and I get to be a part of this!

Join me and so many Men and Women in the fight against this ugly beast, follow our teams along the drive, virtually AND in person!!!
