The Most Convenient Way to Shop for Cat Food & Supplies #OneStopKittyShop
I am a Mom of 6, with that being said; time is something I don’t have a lot of. I try to consolidate my trips as much as I can, if I have to go to a major store and they also have a car port; I will do an oil change while I shop and so on. Same with my grocery shopping, I try to shop for everything I can while I am there. That’s how I found The Most Convenient Way to Shop for Cat Food & Supplies #OneStopKittyShop
As a Family of 8, you know that I spend a lot of time at grocery stores, but I make the best of it with my shopping list.
My store of choice is always Stop & Shop, it’s not only the closest store to my house, but the prices are better than the other competitors. I make one list for the Family’s food and supplies, and one list for our pets.
The fact that I can make sure I get everything I need for my pets, while I am grocery shopping is such an advantage.
The Most Convenient Way to Shop for Cat Food & Supplies #OneStopKittyShop
My entire trip from start to finish was 15 minutes, and that is such a huge difference from a few years ago; when I thought that buying pet supplies at a grocery store would double my budget.
Truth is, I have found that the prices at Stop & Shop are as low or lower than the local pet stores.
As if that wasn’t a reason enough, the Stop & Shop’s Savory magazine for this month has a $2.00 off coupon for DentaLife cat treats!
The entire line of Purina Fancy Feast products is on sale, and with the $2.00 off coupon; you have the best deal in Town!

If you feed your Cats only wet food, or only dry food, or are like us and feed them a mix of both;
now is the perfect time to take advantage of this sale!
Our cats are very particular about the flavors that they like, and the type of food they eat. They are as finicky as they get!
This is why I love the Purina brand, they have a wide range of products to choose from. They are great quality and equally great prices. My choices for their cat food and litter is a direct reflection of my love for them, they are pampered, spoiled and very loved!
My cats love the food I bring them and this shopping trip had a little bot of everything. I bought the 14lb hand held bottle of Tidy Cats cat litter. I bought the “24/7 Performance clumping litter for multiple cats”. It’s the one I prefer.
I always buy them wet and dry food, and my choices this week were:
Dry Food:
Fancy Feast Filet Mignon Flavor with real Seafood & Shrimp
Wet Food:
Fancy Feast Ocean Whitefish & Tuna Feast- Classic
Fancy Feast Chicken Feast- Classic
Fancy Feast Chicken & Beef Feast in Gravy- Grilled
The favorites:
Fancy Feast Gravy Lovers Salmon & Sole Feast in Seared Salmon Flavored Gravy
Fancy Feast Gravy Lovers Chicken & Beef Feast in Grilled Chicken Flavored Gravy
Fancy Feast Gravy Lovers Beef Feast in Roasted Beef Flavor Gravy.
We have 2 Cats, 1 Dog, 1 Turtle, 1 Frog, and many fish; include us Humans and it’s a full house!
We couldn’t get the cats a cat tree because the floor space is a high commodity around here, so we came up with a cute idea for the cats to have a place where they can play and nap undisturbed from the dog; who always wants to play with them. Before we came up with the idea of using the dog’s old crate, we always were taking the cats out of there. We don’t know why, but anytime we let the dog out, they would run inside and stay there, nap there, and sometimes play there. So we decided to make them a small bed that we could easily move if we had to. Tied a few toys around, and placed their bowls in there.
Now they have their own Cat Cave!
Supplies:
- a large basket
- pillows or blankets
- cat scratch post
- Food & Water bowls
- Instructions:
- We used a large basket that I had from a raffle win and tied an old pillow to it, and a second pillow on the side
- We tied strings and shoelaces on one side of the crate
- We tied a pompom ball and a toy crow on the other side
- We chose a corner for their food and water bowls
- We put the cat scratch post in a corner so it would stay pinned
- We didn’t have to introduce the Cats because they ran in on their own…
These cats love their little cat apartment, and I am so happy that we were able to put the used dog crate to use. The kids had fun helping, and it was such an easy job that anyone can do it. We hardly ever close the door, only when we have to doorway to the backyard open; because we don’t want them to go outside. It turned into a fun little project and I am glad we were able to work together and put such a big item to god use.

I made a DIY flyer toy for my cat by taking a Petmate caterpillar toy and string and using a stick from blinds I was throwing away.. the stick that turns them open and closed. I use it all the time.
