BODYARMOR LYTE is a naturally flavored, naturally sweetened low-calorie sports drink that combines electrolytes, coconut water and vitamins for Super Hydration.
I have always had a very hard time with drinking water. It’s a lecture I often receive from everyone, and yet; I still can’t seem to drink more than one small water bottle a week. My Mom was the same way and I have failed more times than I have tried with trying to drink water.
I am very good at making sure the kids drink water, and to my surprise; they love it! My teenage Daughter chooses water over every other drink in the world!
I know buy valium online illegal that I should be teaching the kids by my actions and not my words, but it is just a nauseating feeling I get if I drink water.
I have migraines and caffeine is something that helps keep them at bay (my water intake has not made a difference, even hen I drank a lot of it), and yet coffee is one of my migraine triggers; so I drink soda in the mornings, and throughout my day.
Lately I have been making sure that I at least drink a 1/4 of a water bottle before I sit and read my emails. It’s something I have to do for work, and it has helped make sure I drink water.
I knew about the benefits of drinking more water but something just wasn’t clicking. I needed to find a way to stay hydrated.
5 Tips on How To Stay Happy & Hydrated During Your Day
Over the past few months, I’ve discovered simple ways to help myself stay more hydrated whether on-the-go or hanging out at the house.
1.) Make it a Habit or a Key
I have been keeping a water bottle by my bed, and my new rule is that I can not stand up unless I drink some water.
My “key” is that I am not allowed to check my email until I drink 1/4 of a water bottle each time. Sometimes I toss in a slice of fruit (lemon, strawberries) to make the water taste more refreshing. I have been doing this and it has become a habit and a key.
2.) Set Reminders & Timers
As a full time Blogger and Social Media Coordinator, I always have my phone at my side. I set an alarm for every 2 hours to remind me to go have a drink. If you don’t want to set an alarm, you can also use post it’s.
3.) Having a Drink we Like is the Secret!
One of my biggest problems when it came to staying hydrated was that I don’t like the taste of water. We all know that if you don’t like something, you will not make an effort to drink/eat it. I needed to find a drink that was good, good for me, and more importantly; one that kept me hydrated throughout the day.
I tried all kinds of drinks, from flavored waters, carbonated waters, infused waters, but nothing was bringing me to the other side; until I came across BODYARMOR LYTE.
The naturally flavored, naturally sweetened low-calorie sports drink combines electrolytes, coconut water, and vitamins for Superior Hydration. BODYARMOR LYTE contains only 20/calories per serving and is the perfect drink to replenish your body.
My favorite flavor by far is Cherry Berry, it is like candy! Of course, the Peach Mango flavor is absolutely delicious and refreshing. The biggest thing I love about BODYARMOR LYTE is the hydration help, and the LYTE calories.
4.) Drink Out of a Bottle Instead of a Cup
The great thing I noticed about drinking out of a bottle is that I can see how much liquid I’m actually drinking throughout the day. Drinking from a cup doesn’t give you the instant measurement that you get from a bottle, and if you’re like me and trying to get used to this hydration thing 😉
Every little ounce helps!
Drinking from a bottle makes staying hydrated so much more convenient than a cup or can. You can take the bottle in your purse/bag and head out of the house. For this Sport’s Mom of 6; it’s so convenient!
5.) Set Goals and Don’t Forget to Reward Yourself!
So far I have been loving all of my new methods/tips, they have really helped me set hydration goals for myself. I have definitely made BODYARMOR LYTE my drink of choice, it helps me stay hydrated and doesn’t give me a chance to get moody over drinking plain water. I have set a few goals for myself when it comes to how much I drink during the day, and I reward myself with a treat or a t.v. break; and it’s so easy to see my progress through the bottle!
BODYARMOR is the brand of choice for athletes and has assembled an impressive team of young, superstar athletes such as James Harden, Mike Trout, Dustin Johnson, Andrew Luck, Richard Sherman, Dez Bryant, Anthony Rizzo, Buster Posey, Skylar Diggins and several others.
How much do you drink throughout the day? Are you currently working on changing your current habits? How are you trying to achieve your goal? Write it down, work on it, stick to it, and reward yourself!

It’s odd but Tip 4 is right on. I find myself drinking a lot more water out of a bottle than out of a cup. I’ve been using a reusable bottle to try and be environmentally friendly though.

The bottle vs a cup thing is so true for me too. I find I can drink a bottle or 2 of water super quick, but a cup? Sits forever. Its strange.

I’m glad that body armor helps you stay more hydrated, at least you realize your battle with drinking water. I was once like you and realized it’s really just mind over matter and you can accomplish drinking pure water if you put your mind to it. My husband has the same battle, won’t drink anything unless it’s sweet, he got severely dehydrated this weekend and it took him three days to get back to normal after we moved everything out of our uhaul. Me, it was a matter of hours and I was good because I’ve learned to love water. Plus you don’t have to worry about the calories with water. Most people consume the majority of their calories from what they drink, not what they eat. It should be the other way around.

I don’t have any issues with drinking plain water. However, when the heat gets intense, I would need to replace my electrolytes as well. Body Armor Lyte is my go to choice. They are low calorie but packed with nutrients to hydrate us down to the cellular level.
