I love Halloween, and I love making desserts with the kids, but I don’t have a lot of time to do the things I would like; like baking from scratch, and cooking full course meals. So I have found ways to make very easy, fast, delicious, and cute treats that the kids and I can do together. My Son’s birthday is during Halloween weekend, so around here we tend to have a theme all month long in celebration of a fun birthday. We made these cute Creepy Crawly Cupcakes in less than 1 hour, from start to finish.
Ingredients & Supplies:
- Cake Mix (bake per directions on the box)
- Tub of Frosting (# of tubs depend on how many colors & cupcakes you make)
- Candy Set of Spider legs cupcake stands
Candy Eyes
- Cupcake Spider Stand
- Spider Cupcake Kit

- Table Cloth (this is the one I wanted, but my table is too big for this one)

To get the spider “furry” effect, all I did was spike up the frosting with a fork
We made several versions of Spiders, I let the kids have fun; because that’s what this is all about in the end. Fun, easy, and delicious treats that we can all make.
