On Sat Sept 18, 2010 My Family attended the Premier Pre-Screening for the movie Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole which is based on the books by Kathryn Lasky and is the animation debut of Zack Snyder. In the movie Soren is a young owl who is in love with the adventures his Father tells him and his siblings about The Guardians of Ga’Hoole, a mythical band of warrior owls and how they won the battle against the Pure Ones and saved all of the owlkind.
Now don’t worry, I won’t give the movie away, so feel free to read the rest of the post without fear 😉
I have to first tell you, after seeing the previews for this movie it looked so exciting, then as the movie got closer to release date, I was skeptical about seeing a movie solely about owls; boy was I wrong!!!
The movie was so incredibly done, the story line was great, the kids loved the story in itself, and can I tell you about the graphics!?!?
Of ALL the animated movies I have seen to date, I completely without a second thought, name this movie the BEST EVER when it comes to the graphics!! I purposely looked for faults and parts where the characters would look too computerized. I found NONE!! Look at the way the Father is looking at his kids…
If you when you watch this movie you are going to be amazed! I can tell you that it looked like the real thing, like if they were real owls talking!
So go ahead and have a wonderful time with your Family, the movie will be released to the Public on September 24, 2010
