“What’s Cooking,” is a free monthly cooking demo & sampling at 1Mission in the historic Mission Hills business district, it will feature personal chef Betsy G preparing perfect Olympics-watching fare, Gold Medal Reuben Panninis. Event runs from 1-4 p.m. no reservations needed, you can stop by anytime. 1Mission is a luxurious mixed-use enclave of 61 townhomes and flats, shops and a beautiful urban garden.

Fungus Fair 12th Annual Mushroom Festival presented by members of the San Diego Mycological Society
• Will feature mushroom display of locally collected mushrooms.
• Fair vendors will have fresh wild mushrooms, cultivation kits, books, clothing, posters, and other mushroom-centric items available.
• Help in identifying unknown specimens brought in by visitors—BYOM (Bring Your Own Mushroom).

What is it?
Celebrate Spring Nights with the performing arts of yesterday and today on the plaza in Old Town San Diego State Historic Park. Every single night of the week in February and March. The events are presented by Fiesta de Reyes and all the Old Town State Park Merchants, performances from yesterday and today will take place on the green in the main park plaza.
On Mondays, Teatro Mascara Magica will reenact a love story from 1850s & Los Diegos will perform Californio-era music. Tuesdays will be Potpourri
Performance night with a variety of groups ranging from bluegrass music to performing arts schools to Cisco Kid movies. On Wednesdays, the plaza will celebrate the Jalisco traditional dance of Folklorico from the Grupo Folklorico de Chula Vista. On Thursday and Friday, live music will be performed by various Andean and Latin music groups, respectively. On Saturday, Los Rios will entertain the crowd with Mariachi Fusion music.
On Sunday nights, Mango & Dango will combine old school circus techniques with creative character work to end the week of performances with a laugh. It brings a festive, family-friendly atmosphere as part of the free Spring Nights celebration in Old Town San Diego State Historic Park.
“Mango and Dango will put on a high-energy performance both children and adults will enjoy,” said Fiesta de Reyes concessionaire Chuck Ross.
